TEHRAN - An international conference entitled "The Future of Islam in the 15th Century A.H."

opens today in Amman, Jordan.

The conference is being sponsored by the Ahl-ul Bait Institute of Jordan.

According to the Public Relations Office of the World Assembly for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (WAPIST), its chairman, Ayatollah Taskhiri, will be attending the conference and presenting an article on relations between Islam and the West and the duties of Muslims.

The situation of the Islamic community, conflict of civilizations, and the revolution of technology in the 15th century A.H. are among the topics to be discussed at the conference.
